ALEXANDER “UNCLE” MCDEAVITT
FOREVER 31
Alexander McDeavitt, lovingly known as “Uncle,” was a man whose heart seemed to grow with every child he met. Whether it was his own nieces and nephews or children he encountered, Alexander’s playful and caring nature left an indelible mark on their lives, earning him the nickname that became his identity.
"Alexander, my brother, was an amazing uncle to all of his nieces and nephews and any child he met. That’s how he got the nickname ‘Uncle.’"
Some of his most cherished moments were spent watching his nephews play baseball. From games to tournaments to simple practices, Alexander’s presence was a source of support and joy for the boys. Every Christmas, he would visit his sister's house to wrap presents, a tradition that became a hallmark of his love for family. Each year, he’d sign his name on one of her plastic Christmas ornaments—a small gesture that now carries immense meaning and comfort in his absence.
Alexander's kindness, his laughter, and his steadfast devotion to those he loved will forever be remembered. He leaves behind a legacy of love that lives on in every memory, every ornament, and every moment his family carries in their hearts. Though his time was far too short, his impact was profound, and his family will treasure the light he brought into their lives.
Rest peacefully, Alexander—forever “Uncle,” forever loved.
