AMY MCMAHAN
FOREVER 33
February 20, 1984 – December 28, 2017
Knoxville, Tennessee
"Amy was my middle daughter, my handful daughter, but she filled me with so much joy and laughter all her life. Now my joy is gone." These heartfelt words from her mom capture the vibrant and unforgettable spirit of Amy McMahan.
Amy was a devoted mother who loved her two children deeply. "She didn’t want to die; she had two kids," her mom shared, expressing the profound loss her family feels. Tragically, Amy’s life was taken by someone who gave her the pill that ended her journey far too soon.
Even in the midst of grief, her family takes comfort in imagining her free from pain. "She gained her wings and is with our Lord Jesus Christ," her mom said. "Knowing her, she’s singing, dancing, and filled with joy."
Amy’s laughter, love, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her mom beautifully sums up her enduring love and sorrow: "I miss my Amelia."
