JACOB HURLANDER

FOREVER 25

Jacob Hurlander was the kind of person who left a mark on your heart, a man whose warmth and kindness were felt in every laugh, every gesture, every quiet moment of connection. He had a love for cars, a bond he shared with his dad in countless hours spent working side by side, creating memories as they turned wrenches and brought engines back to life.

Jacob was a caring, loving person. Who loved working on cars with his dad. He was funny. We used to sit up for hours and talk. I miss talking to him, and if I had known that the last time I saw him was our last, I would have hugged him tighter and made sure he knew how much he means to me. Until we meet again, I will forever carry you in my heart. I love you, son, until I take my last breath and we are together again.” - his loving mother

These words from his mother reflect the immeasurable love she has for Jacob—a love that continues to grow even in his absence. Jacob wasn’t just a son; he was a friend, a confidant, someone she could sit with for hours, sharing stories, laughter, and moments that now feel like treasures.

Jacob’s humor was a gift to those around him, a way he brought light into even the darkest days. His laughter wasn’t just a sound; it was a feeling, a connection, a reminder of the joy he carried in his heart.

Though his time here was far too short, Jacob’s legacy is woven into the lives of those who love him. In the cars he fixed with his dad, in the echoes of late-night conversations, and in the memories that play like a cherished song, he remains.
