JACOB VASQUEZ
FOREVER 24
Jacob’s family included this beautiful tribute in their entry:
"Our beloved Jacob...we are so broken without you. A life filled with joy, love and adventure, taken from you, from us, by a single, counterfeit pill. You were athletic, artistic, energetic, creative, silly, funny, passionate, sentimental, sensitive and so very handsome...brown eyes and dimples. A smile that lit up the room and could melt a heart of stone.
You loved your family, friends, small children and animals, especially your little dog Sophie. You wanted to marry your girlfriend and have a family of your own someday, and raise them in the same house you grew up in. You loved deeply, and we loved you just as deeply.
You enjoyed the beach, hiking, nature, snowboarding and good food. You loved the holidays and our family traditions. You had empathy and kindness to those who were looked upon differently. You had such hope and plans for the future...all stolen from you.
There is such a huge, endless hole in our hearts. It is so very quiet without your laughter, your voice. Our wonderfully loud and messy boy. You were our light, and will always be our light. We are forever broken without you, and we miss you desperately.
I still cry for you every single day, and my shattered heart will never be the same. We love you, our sweet angel, and will never stop saying your name, our beautiful, beloved Jacob-boy. You made the world a better place. 💔🙏😭"

It is clear that Jacob was a shining light in a world that is often too dim. His vibrant spirit touched everyone he met, and his kindness and love extended to the smallest creatures and the biggest hearts. A brilliant smile, a contagious laugh, and a deep sense of compassion made Jacob unforgettable. His dreams were as big as his heart, and his presence made the world feel brighter, warmer, and safer.
Though Jacob’s time here was far too short, the love he gave and the joy he brought will live on forever in the lives of those who knew and cherished him. His light may no longer guide us on Earth, but it will forever shine in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest peacefully, Jacob. You are loved beyond measure and missed beyond words.
