MELISSA ASHLEY MANNING

FOREVER 23

Melissa Ashley Manning was more than a daughter—she was a miracle, a devoted EMT, and a forever birthday gift from heaven. Born naturally on her mother’s birthday, Melissa brought light and love into the world from her very first moment.

Melissa’s heart was as big as her compassion. She dedicated herself to helping others as an EMT, a calling that reflected her deep sense of care and selflessness. Just five months before her passing, she made the life-changing decision to become an organ donor, ensuring that her legacy of giving would continue even beyond her time here.

Her mother holds her memory close, refusing to let her beautiful daughter be forgotten:
"They say you die twice—first when you stop breathing, and the second time when someone speaks your name for the very last time. My baby won't die a second time as long as I am alive."

Melissa’s life was a precious gift to those who knew her. Her unwavering kindness, her dedication to others, and the love she shared will forever resonate in the hearts of her family, friends, and those she saved through her selfless act of organ donation.

She was her mother’s miracle, her forever birthday gift, and a shining light that will never fade.
