MICAH SAWYER JR

FOREVER 22

Micah Sawyer, Jr. was a man whose spirit was as vast and open as the ocean he loved to dive into. With an incredibly big heart and a smile that could brighten even the cloudiest day, Micah carried a light within him that drew people close and left them better for having known him. His hugs were legendary—big, warm bear hugs that wrapped you in love and made you feel like the most important person in the world.

Micah was a leader, both on and off the field. As captain of the football team, he led with strength and camaraderie, earning the admiration and respect of his teammates. But his passions extended far beyond the game. Micah found joy in life’s adventures—riding motorcycles, wakeboarding across shimmering waters, hunting, fishing, and exploring the beauty of nature.

He lived life with a fearlessness and enthusiasm that inspired those around him. Whether it was the rush of the ocean waves, the thrill of the open road, or the quiet moments by the water’s edge, Micah embraced it all with a heart full of gratitude and a soul full of life.

Micah had an incredibly big heart and a beautiful smile that lit up the room,” his family writes. “He was loved by so many.” These words, simple yet profound, speak to the depth of the love that surrounded Micah and the unshakable bond he shared with his family and friends.

Though his time here was far too brief, Micah’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His laughter, his love, and the way he made life feel so full will never be forgotten.

Rest peacefully, Micah. Your light continues to shine, your hugs are still felt, and you are forever missed and forever loved.
