ROY LEE WILSON III
FOREVER 33
Roy Lee Wilson III was a son, a Marine, a protector, and a friend—a man whose heart was as big as the world he dedicated himself to serving. To his mother, he was her "good boy," the one who was always there, steadfast and unwavering, no matter the circumstances.
Roy’s life was defined by his deep love for his family and animals, a love that spoke to the gentle strength of his soul. Though he carried the discipline and dedication of a Marine, his heart remained tender, open to the beauty in the world and the people he cherished most.
To know Roy was to know loyalty. He stood by those he loved, offering not just his presence but his whole heart. Whether through his service as a Marine or the quiet, everyday acts of love he shared with his family, Roy embodied what it meant to live with honor and compassion.
“He was always there for me,” his mother recalls. These words, simple yet profound, capture the essence of who Roy was—a man who gave freely of himself, who showed up for his family, and who made the world a little brighter with his steadfast love.
Though his absence leaves a void that can never be filled, Roy’s memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His love, his service, and the unwavering bond he shared with his family are a legacy that will never fade.
Rest peacefully, Roy. You are forever loved, forever missed, and forever a part of the lives you touched. Your honor and dedication as a Marine will always be remembered. Semper Fi.
